What's Breathwork?

Breathwork meditation consists of a conscious, connected breathing pattern, designed to bring awareness and healing. It is an active form of meditation with the remarkable ability to rid your body of stress and environmental toxins, release physical tension, and soothe your mind—helping you cultivate clarity and a deep sense of well-being. It also supports the release of trauma and emotions stored in the body, allowing for profound emotional healing and freedom.

Many of my clients come to me carrying old or recent wounds, ready to move beyond feeling stuck and seeking relief from grief, depression, or anxiety. They’re committed to finding a nurturing practice that helps restore balance and peace, supporting them steadily on their path toward healing and transformation. Many also turn to breathwork to enhance focus, spark creativity, improve physical performance, and cultivate a competitive edge in their professional lives.

Breathwork offers a gentle yet powerful recharge for body, mind, and spirit, supporting you in a non-invasive way with benefits such as:

Relief of stress, anxiety and insomnia
Managing and treating depression
Assisting with grief and loss
Boosting performance in business and athletics
Curbing addiction
Eliminating toxins
Strengthening mental focus
Healing physical and emotional wounds and traumas
Boosting the immune system
Inspiring creativity

Managing PTSD
Reducing chronic pain
Creating wellness to cultivate health and longevity

What does it look like?

Each session lasts between 75 and 90 minutes. We'll begin with a conversation to explore your current challenges, wellness goals, and what has led you to seek healing through breathwork.

From there, you’ll lie comfortably on your back on a yoga mat, and we’ll begin the breathing practice. Using a combination of essential oils, music, and gentle guidance, I’ll support you through approximately 30 minutes of a two-part rhythmic breathing technique. The session concludes with 15 minutes of deep relaxation and meditation, allowing your body and mind to fully integrate the experience.*

Who should not do Breathwork?

Breathwork is a natural and generally safe practice for most people. However, if you are pregnant, have a history of seizures or aneurysms, cardiovascular conditions, or any medical or physical limitations that make it difficult to lie on your back and breathe deeply for an extended period, please consult your doctor before participating.

*Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and refrain from eating a heavy meal prior to your Breathwork session.
